Who publishes this
Cat Ranks and tools marked “Built by us” share an operator. EraseCat is one of those tools; Cleanup.pictures is an external product. Ownership is disclosed before you choose. Building a tool is not evidence that every recommendation has been tested.
A small, specific comparison
The current constraint checker covers one task: removing a small object from a photo. It compares only EraseCat and Cleanup.pictures against processing location, input size, original-size export and device requirements.
“Fits known limits” means the documented conditions match. It does not promise a clean repair. A conflict is shown as unsuitable; missing evidence stays unknown. Inspect your actual exported file before using it.
What the evidence means
- Recorded observations: internal engineering samples describe the tested tool, input, date and output. They are not customer reviews or a test of every device.
- Official statements: linked product documentation supports the stated limit. Reading a product page is not the same as completing its editing and export flow.
- Unknowns: untested exports, processing details and device behavior remain unresolved. An unknown does not become a pass.
Directory, budget and older records
The tool directory provides starting points, not a tested score for every product. The subscription budget uses amounts you enter; its scenarios are not vendor quotes or guaranteed savings.
Older roundups and software comparisons retain their historical dates. They were not reverified as part of this task. Check each dated source and the current product terms before relying on a historical price or conclusion.
